General
Work with us
We have a fairly tight budget and we are very mission-driven, so
we’re most interested in working with people who are mission-driven,
interested in learning about the area, and enthusiastic. Volunteering is
very welcome and appreciated; depending on fit we can also pay you as a
contractor.
Some projects:
- Finding podcast guests.
- Setting up a body to do third-party verification for polygenic
scores (especially ones used by embryo screening companies).
- Coordinating roundtables for ethical and safety standards in novel
reprogenetics such as embryo editing.
- Organizing an open letter in support of reprogenetics.
- See “Some
reprogenetics-related projects you could help with”.
- Researching and writing on various topics, including technical
(genetics, reproduction) and non-technical (law, policy, societal
impacts).
- Managing media.
- Cold-contacting potential collaborators (scientific, philanthropic,
etc.).
